Since the advent of the Internet, I have been able to bring my teachings online to countless students and lovers of classical guitar so that they can benefit from the extraordinary personal success I have enjoyed on the guitar for all these years.

And the results have been nothing short of remarkable !

My career was pre-internet and was more an introspective involvement on the guitar than those of my contemporaries and peers.

It focused on trying to understand exactly how to achieve one's own personal technique on the guitar and develop one's own personal expression through the music written for it throughout the centuries.

I discovered that through a unique counter-intuitive process, one's creative spirit comes alive and the drudgery of learning technique disappears and every moment spent practicing and playing can become supremely enjoyable.

Something quite opposite to what many experience.

When I took this method, that I developed decades ago for my own benefit, online, I had many decisions to make about how I thought the presentation would best reach all sorts of personality types and levels of students, beginner to advanced, as well as the use or lack of use of videos, diagrams and audio clips.

The form that my course "Mastering The Five Disciplines" took has enjoyed tremendous success and I receive constant positive feedback from those following it...and also the usual "negative" CG Forum feedback from those who aren't.
